Laurie Jones

Laurie Jones has recently announced her 7th, and latest anthology, Dark Horse. Folk Hop For Hip Folk, is the signature sound coined by vocalist/songwriter Mehuman ((PRON. "May-mon"). Sara Trunzo is a country and northeastern singer-songwriter who calls Maine home, periodically and perennially.

Collective Move, a modern dance company out of Saco, and QUAD, a cello/drum philharmonic based in Portland are bringing their talents to St. Lawrence Arts! Yay! The performance volition feature multiple choreographed dances accompanied by alive renditions of songs written by QUAD. This rare operation from Maine artists will exist an unforgettable evening of alive dance and live music at St. Lawrence Arts. Celebrating Light & Audio; An Evening of Mi'kmaq Storytelling with David Lonebear Sanipass

This event is a fundraiser for the White Comport Project. The White Bear Projection seeks to record David Lonebear painting images of the aboriginal Mi'kmaq Story of the White Bear aslope him telling the story. The story tells how the Mi'kmaq and their teachings came hither. The project will expand knowledge and polish calorie-free on a history currently untold. A documentary film and prints of David'southward painting will exist made available. This story is in the Mi'kmaq prophecies, one that tin can be shared now to all people around the globe.

Peter Gallway and The Real Band

Join u.s. for a wonderful evening of jazz! The Mainestream Jazzmasters is a seven piece jazz band that has performed in the greater Portland expanse for over 10 years. The members are experienced professionals who have individually played thousands of gigs throughout the United States and foreign countries. Founded by successful composer, lyricist and playwright John Linscott, the lineup includes saxophones, trombone, guitar, keyboard, drums and bass. The repertoire, as the name suggests, is focused on the neat mainstream tunes from the golden era of jazz, the 1930'southward through the 1960's, with occasional diversions.
